Train the Facilitator

We offer short Train-the-Facilitator courses to social service organisations and healthcare institutions that are looking to equip your therapists/counsellors/other professionals with therapeutic horticulture skills. These include:

  • basic horticulture (plant propagation and care, nutrient management, systems thinking)
  • plant and activity selection
  • therapeutic needs assessment and goal setting
  • activity design and adaptation
  • facilitating techniques

The course content is intended to complement your professional knowledge and skillsets in serving your clients. Completion of training does not qualify you as a certified horticultural therapist. Please contact us to learn more.

If you would like to receive updates on our trainings/workshops, please join our mailing list.
