Train the Facilitator
We offer short Train-the-Facilitator courses to social service organisations and healthcare institutions that are looking to equip your therapists/counsellors/other professionals with therapeutic horticulture skills. These include:
- basic horticulture (plant propagation and care, nutrient management, systems thinking)
- plant and activity selection
- therapeutic needs assessment and goal setting
- activity design and adaptation
- facilitating techniques
The course content is intended to complement your professional knowledge and skillsets in serving your clients. Completion of training does not qualify you as a certified horticultural therapist. Please contact us to learn more.
